Premise - You have found the one, where now?
Here goes nothing, my first attempt at being serious. well in blog terms maybe, i have been known to be serious on very rare occasions like funerals.....yep, just funerals.
So you have the met "The One", this is the person you have been searching for all your life. You would walk over hot coals to be with them, sell your granny just to be near them.
Mystic Meg saw it in her cards, Nostradamus wrote about it.
You wonder why birds suddenly appear ev'ry time they are near, just like phlegm you want to be close to them. (Ok, too far i know. Never said i was Ed Sheeran, just not ginger enough)
Where to go, maybe Dubai for a bit of opulence at the gold souk to be showered in gold (easy, i know what you are thinking!) or gay Paris to visit the galleries, stay at the George v and a night at the Crazy Horse.
so come on, where is your perfect place or places you would go for that perfect date of a lifetime.

For me it would have to be a night under the stars in a desert Bedouin camp, then finding ways to keep warm together as it does get a little cold in the eveing once the sun sets . |

Well, in reality I am thinking I would have care less where I would meet him. The thought of just a hug and a kiss follow by whispers would be enough, the place would be irrelevant as long as it was private.

A fantastic place that will always stay in our memory is a Baroque castle a few k's from Taormina on the Island of Sicily which is my families country of origin, where we celebrated with family a very special occasion less that four weeks ago. Was the best day of my life so far, though i have a feeling that will fall into second place later this year. |

I suppose what I'm trying to say is that you don't have to be in an exotic location to share time with someone special.

We had a stolen afternoon together on Tuesday, a blanket on the lawn. Kisses and cuddles under an azure sky; sunbathed naked and ate too much ice cream. Made love beneath the gently rustling trees and dozed a little in each other's arms. A perfect day! |

Why is it that so many blogs on this site peter out into the realm of food and drink ? :-) |

Ok back to the plot then, a side by side traditional Thai massage at Wat Po in Bangkok, with a week in the Regent for its opulence and maybe another few on a beach at Koh Samui.... |

Then again, take a Hog 2 up down Route 66, being sure to take in the best live blues you'll ever hear at 'Blue Chicago' (no prizes for guessing where that is ...) |

Or now we're back on food, there is an amazing restaurant in down town Baku, which was originally a stop on the ancient silk route. The open court yard is overlooked by the original bedrooms, with stables beneath. A small fountain babbles gently in the centre, whispering tales of intrigue from long bygone generations. During their intermission, dancers from the state ballet company swap tutus for belly dancing round the diners to supplement their meagre income, before hot footing it back in time for Act II. Simple fare but overwhelmingly atmospheric.... |

Then again, a day sunbathing on the nude beach of Macaraletta (Menorca), snorkelling from the beach and flashing the passing boats that moor in the natural harbour. Then back home across the cliffs and through the pine forest, seeing if we can resist stopping for some private fun whilst serenaded by the cicadas.... |

But then again, as my first reply intimated, sometimes there's just no place like home! |

Awwwww Psavour....Remember there are places protected in the Amazon too...and yes, there is a lot of deforestation around but I think it is better to enjoy that magical place before it cud be gone anyway. I am sure you would love it too...It is just so far from all what we are used to electronics, gadgets, and commodities we take from granted....Then, when you see the sky full of stars u also realized how small u r in the universe and anyway, it would be a great moment to share....I know food is great, modern places are too but just coming back to basis seems to me the best place to just focus not only on the world but the other person around....OK I know I am extremely cheesy! Don't feel sick hahaha |

PS - Menorca much less developed and (in my view) spoilt by over development of the drunken tourist kind. 2 other very nice nude beaches there at Sa Mesquida on the north east coast and in the south turn right at Santo Thomas and keep walking! Sea canoes make better progress than pedalos btw, though less fun than a jet ski! |

We guessed you were kidding about the pedelo! Had this idealised romantic view of one hoving into view round the cliffs, being pedalled furiously by a bronzed Adonis (well Mrs GC did anyway) just as the tide changes and the anticipation wanes somewhat as you take 2 hours to make land fall from 300 meters out! snorkling works just as well for nude beach perving btw (allegedly ahem!) and it seems less contrived so you are more likely to not get thumped. I can highly recommend the Olympus 'tough' shockproof and underwater camera for shooting the submarine, er, landscape.... |
