In touch with another side

10:26 pm Friday, 27th March, 2015

Been having a stressful time lately, what with work, family and just general greif. Been a bit of a shit shower lately.
So I have been looking for some outlets to help de-stress, something a bit "out there" that I haven't experienced before.
After a bit of a rethink, not looking for anything sexual. I have a long term plan and I don't want to peak too early, cannot afford to be premature.
Let me know what you love to do to de-stress, I am up for anything.
What makes your heart race, your blood pump and let's you know you are alive.

I bet i could make a suggestion to better that one for you Sassy, as naked butler in the form of Mr Depp bringing you a steaming cup of your fave coffee ;-) x

Where as i myself would much prefer Channing Tatum as my naked butler serving me a delicious glass of my fave malt or a chilled glass of champagne while feeding me strawberries as i'm pampered from head to toe at the spa...Yummy. Oh but can channing adopt Sam Elliots voice when he speaks Pwaorrrr (drooling at the thought!)

Ditto Psavour. I just happen to be lucky enough to have moved back to my home town, which is a lovely seaside town on the west coast of Scotland. I walk bare foot on the sand often letting the sea breeze blow away all my troubles and clearing my mind!! :-) x

I tend to think it's the vastness and the sheer power of the sea that draws me to it, but then again i always feel relaxed when near any body of water be that a lake (loch up here in Scotland) river, pond or stream it's a connection to water i think i feel or more so it's calmingrelaxing influence :-) x

Ohh forgot to mention Hot tubs, spa bath and good old plain ordinary bath, even a bloomin shower does it for me....
relaxes me that is lol :-) x

OK I was thinking about this and what to reply. If I want to release tension (not just that kind of tension lol) well I just go dancing. I love doing it and last time I broke my record: 7 hours dancing. Bad news, next day I could barely walk, high heels did not help...lol

Another way to just relax, definitely Spa, a facial, manicure or pedicure and music. One day at home, just doing nothing and listening to music with a book also helps. Chatrooms also make me smile a lot. Lovely people there.

Pavour: I hope you find your way to relax img src="imagesadultemoticons001.gif" However, don't forget it also a mental state

Why should de-stressing necessarily involve "getting your blood pumping and letting you know you're alive"?
If you wanted to do that with very little input, could I perhaps recommend taking a large tablespoon full of "wasabi" ? :-)

If ever I want to put vexing stuff in the back of my mind, all I do is spend a full day tending my garden. I know it doesn't sound very "sexy", but there's something very therapeutic in clearing up leaves, pruning, rearranging and tidying. Now and again I'll also have a hike if the weather is half decent, or I'll spend some time sketching or doing photography. Taking time to be alone for a bit is an essential part of my recipe for mental balance. Another important aspect of that is separating yourself from the internet and communication devices: my mobile phone is not very "mobile", and sits in a drawer most of the time. Being constantly at people's beck and call is not (in my opinion) a natural state to be in.

Yes I can be a bit of a hermit at times, but it's served me well over the years.
