the one after the ONE.. in the throes of overthinking

I've noticed a tendency on the blogs to regard men exclusively as the villains of the peace. Perhaps that's simply because women are more inclined to articulate their feelings: certainly bitching with the girls over a few G&Ts, or simply writing about them in the public domain. Men, on the other hand, tend to be more circumspect about their love lives: that's just the way we are :-)

If things don't work out between men and women, despite all the vibes having seemed wonderful at the time, the explanation is simply that the balance wasn't right for one of them and heshe kept that to himherself. I too have felt I've hit the jackpot a number of times, but my degree of enthusiasm was not reciprocated to the same degree, and I also know for sure that some women have been in love with me, but that I didn't feel the same way. I think that unless both partners know for sure they're onto a good thing, people will enter into delusory relationships that will play themselves out and ultimately end in tears. So perhaps when remembering all the good ones who got away, there is perhaps some solace in recognizing that it was probably for the best.

There is hope yet,for me ! I am a very simple,uncomplicated person without any hidden agenda ( I wouldn't recognize one, even if I had one ).
Being an idiot doesn't make one a bad person so please don't play on my incredulous simplicity or seek to gain advantage from my naivity.Remember " It's wicked to mock the afflicted !"

If there was just one person for everyone, there's not a cat in hells chance you'd ever meet them, far too many people in the world for that!
