I've created some how-to's regarding images, how they are categorised by our moderators and some questions that could be something you would like to find the answer to regarding pics. The 'Criteria for classification of images' pic gives you some examples of some images that meet or don't meet the moderators' specifications.

Helpful, of course, but I must admit I've found some inconsistency with regard to the acceptability of some of the media I've tried to upload in the past. Some of the stuff does not seem to have transgressed the rules, but was rejected. In other cases, when I resubmitted the same media after initial rejection, they were accepted. This leaves me wondering about the vetting process: Is it all done through some computer-generated algorithm, or are human eyes involved? If the latter, then do the referees work shifts, and are some of them more lenient than others? Would be educational to know :-) |
