I am not one to just sit around wanting and waiting all the time. I am one to get out there and do what feels right.

As for the yearning and wanting, yep, they can take over everything. You can't think straight, or focus on anything else, and if it's the sexual kind.. well, diy just wont do, grrrrr....

If it's the heartbreak kind, hmm.. even us ancients have no defence, believe me.

We all at times play a waiting game when we wantneedlongyearn for something or someone. Sometimes waiting makes sense,though other times we should go out and get what we need most, which may as LillieG said be an exquisite pair of new heels or a man to fulfil your needs. ;-) x.

Failing that a bar of chocolate, a good book and a cup of coffee.x

We spend far too long wanting and waiting for the one we love, whether a real one, or a fantasy of one. Our short time just slips through our fingers like sand... and we seem not to care.
I'm definitely in that club too. Love has not one bloody iota of sense does it. When I think of the things I've done, bloody Hell.

So nowadays, I reckon there's a lot of sense in the old song.. "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with".
It's not the same kind of love, I agree, but it does stop you beating yourself up quite so much. And we certainly do that don't we..
