Walk Of Shame or Shameless Stride

I was listening to the radio in my office at work the other day after i escaped yet another boring meeting. A Pink song called "Walk Of Shame" was playing and it started me thinking.....

How many people have had to endure the shame felt during the walk/ taxi, train, bus ride or drive home the morning after the night before?

Yep i'm sure you know or knoe someone who has woke next to a male/female that you / they may not truely know or shock horror even remember their name :-0

Now not that i'm implying you have been in that situation of that there is the possibility that you may find yourself in that predicament in the future. I'm just curious as to what you would do if you did fin yourself in that situation? Or if you or someone you know has been there, seen it, done it and wore the T-shirt....How did you/they handle yourself/themself?

Have you been seen trying to sneak home unnoticed be the local neighbourhood watch or anyone who knows you. As you may look all bloodshot red eyed and dishevelled, looking more like a homeless person than the calm cool well manicured & pristine presented person that people are used to seeing.

Were you/they embarrassed be the "Walk of Shame" or did you approach it instead as "The Stride Of Pride / Got Laid Parade / Just-Touched-A-Butt strit or The Post Cock Walk?

Go on share yours or someone else's shame.......You know you want to ;-)

That's not a walk of shame BBW that's a walk of pride ;-)

Hear hear Joe! Would agree with the walk of pride comment! (Have had one or two similar requests from hotel staff over the years)

One very memorable partner made the same noise as Kim Cattrell (miss Lynn 'Lassie' Honeywell) in Porky's. Didn't need to get her up in the boys locker room either!

I must admit I've never walked away in shame and never woken up with anyone that I didn't genuinely want to be with the next day!

I'm sure the walk of shame is easier for blokes, isn't it? If we crawl home in the morning we're usually wearing jeans & shirt nothing unusual about that, whereas ladies probably sneak away in last night's dress, heels etc .... not your average day to day get up. The walk through an early morning town centre as the cleaners and newspaper deliveries start are met with a few nods and smiles, is this the same for you ladies or are attitudes different to women?

A Welsh Tina Turner........there's lovely ;-)

But the hungover feeling is all part of the experience MissG ;-) It goes with the bloodshot eyes and general dishevelled appearance!

Simply The Best or Steamy Windows? Being Welsh it definitely isn't I Can't Stand The Rain...... :-)

Sorry i haven't been around since posting as the floods in my area are playing merry hell with out phone lines and internet connections.

Being a shy person i only had morning after the night before experience for the first time last year. I am in the unfortunate position that my neighbour is the head of neighbourhood watch and also a holier than thou bible basher. Her comment when she seen me come home the next day in the same clothes as the evening before and looking rather worse for wear were "where have you been, have you been in an accident? to which i said nope i was out for the night. Her response was to wave her bible at me as she was heading to church saying in a loud voice "you should be ashamed at being a trampy dirty stop out at your age" I just giggled and said as i walked off leaving here with her face all wrinkled as though i were a bad disgusting smell "oh well i had a brilliant night, so that all that matter to me";-)

I believe GTF is the correct response to a question like that from somebody who should be busy turning the other cheek...

Yet MissG I think it was a little touch of the green eyed monster as my neighbour is an elderly spinster and so lord knows when she last enjoyed or even if she has ever enjoyed eroticsensual carnal pleasure, to be honest i hadn't given it any thought and i'm trying not think about it now.
I have to say it wasn't a one night stand though as that's not quite my bag, but rather that we were caught up in the moment and time just ran away with itself ;-)

Sunshine, I have a great deal of respect for my elders too! However, respect is a door that swings both ways!!!!!!

One of my friends had the embarrassment of finding out at her engagement party that she had dated her future husbands brother who had moved to englad and had only came back up to Scotland for the party and as if that wasnt bad enough she had also been previously engaged to one of her husband to be cousins a couple of years previous. "Oh what a tangled web we weave" springs to mind.

Miss Sunshine First let me compliment you on your new pics. They are lovely.
To this day I sometimes take a walk of shame down Memory Lane. When I was a callow youth I took up for a while with this girl. She wasn't attractive and had little personality but Daddy was a millionaire, involved in the boxing game.I kept her in tow for a while even though she was very, very hirsuite ( hairy nipples )as her father used to give me tickets for boxing matches, money to take his daughter to nice places and let me borrow one of his cars ,a 1964 Chevrolet Impala ( orgasmic ).
I still feel guilty and shameful that I was so crass as to string this girl along,so my walk of shame is through all of my life.

Thank you Fetch as compliments are always welcome.xx
Oh and i am sure you have been a long time forgiven for any upset in the past.

Jeezo Star poor you should have felt able to speak up sooner. Though i understand that you were trying not to upset anyone. I myself have made the mistake of being a people pleaser in the past which ultimately left me feeling peeved that i had not put my own thoughts or feelings before anyone else's so i was left feeling only regret for time wasted as my efforts were never appreciated.x

Back in my yoof I had on a few occasions to make my way to work from somebody else's house after a few quiet sherries after work the afternoon before. Being a young bloke working in a factory meant I got a heroes welcome every time, almost more so from the older women who worked there!!
