Yesterday’s, today’s and tomorrow’s

I will not be here for many more tomorrows but this will be my last blog to say a farewell to all the regular bloggers.

Yes I am leaving the site permanently and this is my last blog. So to all the regular bloggers I will say this has been a fun place to be most of the time and has also been a great consumer of time. The vast majority of bloggers past and present are great characters when you scratch the surface and most have been very generous and patient with me – your compassion for the lesser mortal MsG has been most appreciated;-)

So I will leave this site and MsG will be gone forever and it is very unlikely that I will return here in any other guise either. I will say MsG is going whilst at the best I can make her and albeit sad to be leaving the scene, I have been so pleased to have thoroughly enjoyed the journey. I recall in one of Skebbies old blogs, he questioned when we should draw a line under our activities and for me that time is now.

My decision is what it is and is made for the right reasons for me but I must and will be breaking all ties and contacts with this part of my life. I do hope you all enjoy your continuing journeys and I send you all my best wishes for the future.

My profile will go dormant shortly and remain so until I get the chance to visit the chatroom and say my farewells there to a different bunch of reprobates.

After that I will be yesterday’s news that will fade from memories but I am certain I shall remember my time here and the characters that crossed my path :-)


I will not be partaking in this blog as I am away negotiating the takeover bid for a brewery. It is posted for your thoughts which may test some I know ;-)

Well you all know yesterday went and became today which will go and become tomorrow ….. mmmm….

That’s how it goes and what we put off yesterday is still here and what we do not get done today may have to be done tomorrow – that seems all so very obvious.

So, why not just get stuck in without further delay, stop dallying around, pull you finger out and no more ‘manana – manana’. If we were so positive in our sex lives then maybe we would all have a smile on our face all the time …… maybe that is why so many have such long faces and end up tripping over their chins. Life is far too short to let it slip through our fingers, grasp it now before the arthritis sets in!

Positive action can be thwarted by reasons and excuses but where there is a will there is a way. So is your glass half full or half empty – either way take control of the brewery and then fill the glass as often as you like.

Oh to be so positive unless ……..

Skebbie	4:12 pm Thursday, 17^th July, 2014 Never say never again :-) Somehow I think we'll meet again.....or at least I hope so. I feel honoured that you singled out that blog of mine. At the time it didn't get much attention, but I think for everyone that time must eventually come when it seems more dignified to exit "while you're still on top" :-) I for one would be happy to hear from you whenever: either on or off the site. Being an ale fan, I'd be fascinated to learn more about this enterprise of yours :-) But you are right: sometimes we have to take executive decisions, and life is short. Sometimes you have to just go for it and not look back. Thanks for your intelligent blogs and comments. I'll miss you, especially as I felt we were (mostly) on the same side :-) xxxx
