Groping is a blood sport here in Tokyo. So much so that certain rail lines (both under- and overground) designate "female only" carriages during rush-hour periods. Although this is the first time I've heard of male-male groping, I suppose there's no reason to be particularly surprised it goes on.

Although most people would probably find being groped abhorrent, there's no doubt that that particular scenario is a source of excitement and fantasy to some (in much the same way that perhaps dogging appeals to a minority). A lady acquaintance of mine (who gets off on mild public exhibitionism now and then) has as good as admitted to me that the prospect of getting felt up by a stranger on a crowded train has an almost irresistible erotic appeal: something that lies on the cusp between thrilling and frightening. Of course we are entering dangerous territory here because for women who are very sub, this has the potential to provide a means of extending the territory in which they operate. It's just that it is such a fine borderline that separates gratification from panic: something that begins as insidiously thrilling can suddenly evaporate and the "victim" can turn on the "perpetrator" and denounce himher.

There have been a number of cases in Japan where innocent men who were minding their own business have been falsely accused of being gropers by female "man haters" who have their own warped agenda. While it is undoubtedly true that genuine groping is rife on public transport, the repercussions for men who have been falsely accused in this way are considerable, including lengthy legal proceedings, loss of income, and even loss of job, not to mention public and private disgrace. The other side of the coin is that some men would claim that they have a "nose" for spotting sub women who will be compliant and passive if groped, and who will silently revel in their pleasure as it is done to them. Unfortunately, those men invariably end up choosing the wrong type, and are carted off by the railway police at the next station :-)

Generally speaking, though, the whole issue of groping is tainted with ambiguity for the reasons I've mentioned. It is very much a sexually charged issue, open to misinterpretation, exploitation and abuse, with a whole spectrum of possible sexuallegal consequences and fall-out.

I wish I was gifted with X-ray vision too so I could suss out bodaceous burka-babes :-)

Well there does seem to be some real weirdoes in the world. When I was young and used to traverse Melbourne on a regular basis I never did see any groping as such but I was of an age that I could appreciate the curves of some women from teenage to mature ones as well, but again although I looked I did learn not to leer, just appreciate the female form divine.img src="imagesadultemoticons008.gif" img src="imagesadultemoticons023.gif"
