I can't be the only woman who has had the "I've been admiring you from afar" email and then be told they've upgraded just so they can contact me..

The messenger seems genuine, sends a few messages and even throws out other means of contact. goes to so much trouble to make you feel special, says they never get replies of any other women when they were looking....and then you find out all this is just a line they spin, they actually got a few women on the go..jeez Louise some men must be REALLY gagging for a fuck if that's the lengths they go to.

Really turns me off man, I like to feel special ya know?!

Because of the uncertain nature of contacts via this site (or via the internet in general), people tend to hedge their bets because there is no guarantee that someone you've fixated on will reciprocate in the way you want. I would say a "scattergun approach" to contacts here is more the rule than the exception, because if one line of inquiry turns out to be fruitless, at least you have a few avenues to explore in reserve. I don't think it necessarily means that any individual (male or female) has others literally "on the go". More likely heshe has a few irons in the fire and is hoping that one of them proves worthwhile. If that happens then they'll stop looking elsewhere (well......sometimes.....haha....).
