VIRGIN PARTY - 1

Sam and Maria were invited to a party. One friend of theirs was celebrating his 21st. birthday. "What's so special about 21?" asked Sam. "Don't know?" Asked Maria, "Neither do I, will have to ask someone."

The place of the party was at Jerome's. His parents were out on a retreat weekend, which meant that they could blast the music and have a ball. He had invited all his friends. Some were paired up but the majority were still stag - with no partner as yet.

He had been on his toes, busy ushering in the invitees. Some came with their partners some came in pairs two guys or two girls. All were excited, they all knew that Jerome's parents were out. So no bars (no drinks either) - they could freakout.

The music was loud. Everyone was shouting at the top of their voices, they all were in the party mood. All the lovebirds sat close together holding hands and were not shouting like the others. Instead they were talking to each other with their lips close to their partners ear.

There was Peter. He was alone he was the only one who had arrived alone. That was because he was a loner - that is, he was always alone. No one bothered about him because he did not seem to fit in with anyone else and he seemed quite content being alone.

Peter, was quite matured compared to the rest of the invitees. He had noticed that Sam and Maria were the most intense couple he had noticed that they were brazenly been kissing - something the others did not seem to approve of.

He watched them and the other couples as he sat there wishing he had a girlfriend like so many of his friends had. He noticed 2 girls who were sitting together in the corner and giggling together as they looked in his direction. He looked away, shy hoping they, who seemed like hep types, unlike himself - an introvert, would not pick on him.

They had noticed how he had been, openly, staring at the happy couples. One of them got up and moved towards him. He froze, he did did not know what to do. She was walking in his direction. looking directly at him. "Wanna join us?" she asked, shouting over the loud music, "there is an empty seat with us."

He got up and followed her. He was nervous, would they realize that he was shy? Would they dump him when they found out about that? "Hi," shouted one, offering her hand "I am Shirley. She is Patricia." she said. He shook hands with both of them, their hands felt so soft and smooth and small in his, it sent a jolt of electricity through him.

He was excited and confused. He sat down, "What is your name?" shouted Patricia. "Oh, sorry , I am Peter." He Peter shouted back, he could feel the shyness disappear. He had wrongly judged them they were really down to earth and friendly. "Got a girl friend?" shouted Shirley, searching his face.

"Er... You girls with some guys?" He shouted, trying to change the topic, not knowing what their reaction would be on knowing he could only wish he had a girlfriend. "I asked first." Shirley insisted shouting over the loudness of the music playing. "Well, er... no, what about you two?" he shouted back.

"We are lesbian's... you have a problem with that?" Shirley demanded shouting even louder hoping he would accept them. "Er... no, I don't have a problem with that. Its you chicks who take a dislike to guys." He shouted quickly. He was beginning to like these two girls and wondered what it would be like dating these two lesbians.

"We like you and wouldn't mind if you joined us." said Shirley. "Don't we Patricia?" said Shirley turning to Patricia. "Uh... I don't know," said Patricia "I am kind of... er... am getting jealous. I feel I am losing you." Patricia shouted back confessing. "What non-sense luv you know how I feel about you." Shirley shouted back.

"I am sure Peter wouldn't try coming between us. Would you Peter?" asked Shirley, turning to Peter. "Well... I have gotta admit," said Peter. "I have been getting some pretty naughty thoughts about us three." shouted Peter confiding cautiously. "I am feeling embrassed and doubtful about telling you'll about them."

He looked at them closely, wondering if they will like it. They faces seemed to brighten up. "Tell us... Common tell us." they both said in unison and laughed mischievously. "We would like to hear you out." said Shirley looking at Patricia for her approval. "Er... now I don't know about letting a male in, you know how we feel about that." said Patricia.

"Peter is different." shouted Shirley. "come on Patricia open up... will you?" she added. "Well girls," shouted Peter. "I have wondered about you lesbians. It excites me just thinking about getting involved with you'll. he admitted. "I have never felt ackward about being feminine." he added proudly.

"I am kind of proud of being gentle and careful and the guys don't have any problem with me." he added. "I don't think I behave girlish like a panzy. Do I?" he explained. "I might not be good at the rough and tough games guys play," he admitted "but they praise me for my artistic talents, I like drawing and they think I am pretty funny."

"OK." said Patricia, "we will check you out. But you better be warned," she said sternly. "I think you guys are weird. How do you live like that?"
she questioned without a care in the world. "You can look at it this way Pats," said Shirley "with Peter, being a guy, I am sure we will be able to get along with him, we can check out these 'weird creatures', you call these guys."

"OK, but for the rest of this party, don't expect me to tolerate him." said Patricia. Yuk. I cannot stomach him, you can put up with him if you like." she concluded as if she was abandoning Shirley. "You are feeling ambarassed about liking him arn't you? Shirley teased her "Come on now, you will have to admit it to yourself someday."

.... To be continued

VIRGIN PARTY - 2

"Do you guys also have homosexual affairs?" Asked Shirley. "Yes, said Peter, I would like to think it is normal to have physical feelings for another person, what do you think about that Patricia?" Patricia, got a jolt from the directness of the question "I thought i said I don't want to have much to do with you for the rest of this party.

"Ok, thats fine." said Peter, "Sorry about that. In fact, I spoke to you because, I felt the same way about you. I thought I would give, liking you a try." Here Shirley butted in "I guess the feelings are mutual. Just try to tolerate each other for the rest of this party. Do it for me,... Please????'

"Where shall we go after this party?" Asked Shirley, who was all too impatient to check-out their new friend Peter. "May be a coffee, or a movie or a...." Began Peter. But Patricia butted in with. "Why not go to the local zoo. Or that circus that is in town." She looked around for approval, but did not expect anything positive. She certainly did not want to go with them to a dark interiers of a cinema."

"OK." Said Shirley and thought to herself, "this was a sign that they were breaking up, sad but unluckily true." Shirley looked first at Peter and then at Patricia, "ok, which one shall it be, the zoo or the circus?" Patricia brightened up, "The zoo, imagine all those animals we will get to see." You, and animals? Don't you think we could be having better fun together, the three of us?"

"Patricia, do you think we are drifting aapart?" Asked Shirley. "I hope not." Said Patricia quickly. "Then I suggest that you try to be patient with the situation. It is not like either of us are going anywhere." Advised Shirley. Patricia, gave Peter and Shirley one last look, and then decided to give it time. She though it wise to share Shirley, she did not have to take part in a threesome.

They headed towards the zoo. Peter went to the booking office for the tickets. When he returned he handed one to Shirley and one the Patricia, who accepted it with a scowling face. "Its ok Peter, she'll get used to you. They headed for the entry/exit gates. They each handed in their ticket to be clipped with a clipping tool.

They together visited all the animals and birds that were there to be seen. The big cats like lions, tigers etc were in really huge cages which were dome shaped at the top. They also had some rock structure in the middle of the cage, these formed caves like environments for the animals.
The crocodiles, rhynosous, and other shallow water animals had ponds in their pit like area. The elephants, deer and other grass and leaves eating animals had no cages, but fences that were grass patches surrounded by railings.

There was also the aquaram area for different fishes. There were also cages for birds. Snakes were in tanks in an aquarium like room there was also a snake pit for big snakes that could be seen curled around branches of trees in the snake pit. All along only Patricia was enjoying the visit to the zoo, as Peter and Shirley were busy holding on to each other, as though they might lose one another. Patricia noticed this and decided she would teach Shirley a lesson some day, in the mean time she was enjoying this visit to the zoo.

Next they came to a shed like structure that was the entry to a stream that flowed through the zoo. Here there was the boat ride. Shirley's and Peter's turn to enjoy. Here too Peter bought the tickets and moved to join in the line that had collected for the next boat. When the boat did come the rush couldn't be avoided. First went in Shirley then Patricia and then Peter. Patricia blushed when they three noticed the way the seating arrangement turned out.

Patricia, was secretly smiling in her head, because the way the seating arrangement was, Shirley and Peter couldn't do all that necking and holding on to each like they were doing. Though here Shirley had her hand outstretched to rest on Peter's lap. Patricia was rather ambarassed about this and Shirley was enjoying teasing her.

Patricia tried to change the topic by pointing to the swans and ducks that were swimming around in the stream. They really looked beautiful, the swans with their long necks and the ducks who would now and then dip their heads into the water. For them there wasn't any cage, it was open. From the boat they sighted a small cafe. "We will eat something there after this boat ride." Said Peter. The rest of the boat tide they sat in silence while the man rowing the boat explained things every now and then.

At last they came to the end of the boat ride, both Peter and Patricia had to admit, it wasn't so bad tolerating sitting side by side on the boat ride. "So did you'll like it?" asked Shirley. "Yeah said both Peter and Patricia, both meaning about the boat ride while Shirley meant about sitting besides each other. Shirley wasn't aware about the fact that they had both gotten over their repulsiveness fit each other, but that was as far as it would go. Over the meal Shirley thought about talking about what they all three would like to do together.

"So, what are your interests Peter?" asked Shirley. "Well I like drawing I have been getting great ideas about drawing on cloth, let's say, like t-shirt?" said Peter pausing a while to look around. "No that is too common. What about caps, the front part? or maybe jute shopping bags? The problem is that when it comes to painting - I am a total failure." said Peter ending rather sadly.

"I like painting." began Patricia "but the problem is I can't draw." she looked at Shirley, to proud to admit that Peter could help out with the drawing perhaps. She dug out of her hand bag her kerchief. On it she had painted with fabric paint a love note. She gave it to Shirley. Here too, she was ambarassed to call it love. "There, this is for you, there is no one else to do it for."

"Thank you Patricia, it is very sweet of you." said Shirley taken aback with gratitude. "By the way, I pass my time stitching cloth items, like t-shirts, hand bags, sofa cushion covers, bed covers." she looked at the two of them. "I think both of you'll can help me out - my handywork needs brightening up. One with the drawing and one with the painting." She again stopped for their reply. "Well." continued Patricia "there is a thing known as a plutonic affair." This gave Peter an idea. "You know you don't need to fall in love with people you work with."
